Video of a Well Trained and Smart Dog Showing Off
December 19, 2008 by david · Leave a Comment
This is one of the most amazing examples of a well trained dog I’ve seen.Watch as this dog follows it’s owner’s every command. It’s almost as if the dog is hypnotized the movements are so immediate.
It’s only a 82 seconds long so put your dog on your lap or your side, sit back, and enjoy. Popcorn and dog treats is optional.
Let us know what you think!

Here are a few videos found on YouTube to put a smile on your face:
The first video is a compilation of funny cat videos… it’s great for the kids! Only a little over 4 minutes. Rated G
The second video is of Molly, an 8 month old Golden Retriever, watching her favorite TV show “Air Buddies”. It is quite clear that Molly wants to be a movie star.. Rated G
The last is nearly ten minutes worth of some great hilarious pet videos… enjoy! If you spot a video worth adding please contact us! The kids love ‘em but YouTube isn’t kid-safe. Rated PG-13

A great short film narrated by a dog. If you’ve ever wondered what your dog would say if he could talk then this movie is a must watch. Enjoy!

A Slain Soldiers Dog Comforts His Family
December 23, 2007 by david · Leave a Comment

Cpl. Lee and Lex
Maybe the fact that I was an Army brat and my first dog, “Hobo”, was a German Shepard caused me to notice this story in the first place. Either way, it’s another powerful example of how important these pets can be to us and our families.
This family lost a son and brother when shrapnel from a mortar killed him and injured his military dog, “Lex”. The family felt that having Lex become part of their family would help them deal with their loss a little better as they knew how close the two were.
I know their son, Cpl. Dustin Lee, is looking down on his family and Lex comforted knowing that his right-hand man Lex is helping to watch over his family.
I’m sure Lex will get more hugs then ever as the family works through the tough days of grieving that lie ahead.
